Reader Response

Description

Its a reader response on lord of the flies, 2 well-developed paragraphs (somewhere in the ballpark of 250 words). its on lord of the flies and you have to include quotes from the book to support thoughts. the question i constructed that i am responding to is “Why do the boys on the island follow Lord of the flies, and what do readers interpret it as?” i found some good responses to this on SparkNotes if you look up reader response questions on lord of the flies. here is some word for word instructions

Using one paragraph to identify the motivation and inspiration for the question/inquiry that has fascinated them. (Complete with reference to a textual example to show that inspiration. This means a quotation and citation!)

And using a second paragraph to analyze the consequence/significance of the question. (This typically is done best by thinking of the paragraph as a “breakdown” of the issue. Pointing to connections in the language, events, and characters of the text are the substance of an RR.)
