What do you think Sontag means when she refers to photographs as “an ethics of seeing?”

What do you think of Sontag’s idea that all photography involves implicit aggression? Are cameras “predatory weapons?”

Do you think the use of a camera helps to make an experience more real for the photographer? Please explain.

Sontag suggests that to photograph something is to simultaneously encourage whatever action is happening in front of the camera. How does this connect to documentary filmmaking?
