Technology innovation is effective in ensuring better communication of relevant information to the administration, which advances scrutiny and decision-making among administrators and related stakeholders. The use of technology in human services administration makes it possible for managers, supervisors, and top official staff to source access to vital data and aids them in having a better knowledge of their clients at personal and organizational levels. This understanding is crucial as it allows such staff to keep track and examine program performance. Taking into consideration that decision-making is paramount in an organization, it assists human services administrators in making correct decisions with reflection from data accretion and analytics (Freedman Consulting, LLC, 2014). Such as move also makes it possible for human services administrators to examine the performance of a distinct program, which uncovers long-time traces and defines any likely advancements. Even though the technology is evolving at a swift rate, human services administrators are on the run in making sure they embrace it in their daily routines to achieve any drawn objectives.
Technology is important in achieving the set mission statement of an organization. Information technology integration in an organization assists in developing positive ideas that align distinct teams and staff on a common facet focused on achieving the set mission (Ross & Verclas, 2009). Through information technology, there is the protection of data and network uptime, which makes it possible for new ideas to meet the organization’s mission statement (Ross & Verclas, 2009). In an organization, information technology focuses on various channels important in achieving various goals and objectives, as well as provide solution on how managers can handle and manage risks and arrive at the right solution in line with the mission statement.

These innovations typically assist high-level program administrators in decision-making through data aggregation and analysis, allowing them to assess long-term trends, and develop possible improvements. Technology innovations play an important role in improving the delivery of human services and community benefits by building on analysis to improve transparency around program performance. Technology innovation can also be used to communicate important information to residents and administrators, improving the scrutiny and decision making-making of administrators (Freedman Consulting, LLC).
Information alignment is the management of an information technology strategy with goals, and processes to meet an organization’s mission. The goal of IT alignment is to use technology to assist and improve the work an organization does to meet its mission. When technology is included in an organization’s strategic planning, the organization can tie technology to its program goals, creating a direct connection between technology and mission. Nonprofit administrations should view the IT department as a key partner in accomplishing the organization’s mission (Heye, 2009).

Technology Innovation forms the backbone of all organizations in Human Service Administration. Accumulation of client background, needs, and status must be stored and updated to meet the target group intended. Communication within the organization to best serve the vulnerable population is vital to be successful in the community. Technology provides the tools to reach out to the clients with accountability of finances obtained and distribution of resources. Empowerment by each individual can be achieved by self application of basic computer skills to renew and update case file information. Implementation of data to structure and design the appropriate format to address the needs of clients is vital for the mission statement of the organization. Technology outlines the purpose and goal of the organization which identifies the mission of how Human Service Administration is applied.
