Purpose of Assignment

This assignment is designed to translate mission, vision, and value statements into measurable strategy goals for a business.

Assignment Steps

Write a minimum 1,050-word analysis of an organization of your choice (your own organization or one you are familiar with) that includes the following:

Create or revise the mission statement and vision statement for this organization.
Develop an analysis of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) of this organization including at least 3 items in each SWOT category.
Recommend three or more specific goals for this organization to pursue over the next 2-5 years, based on your SWOT analysis.

Cite a minimum of one peer-reviewed reference. Peer-reviewed references do not include websites, newspapers or popular magazines. Additional non peer-reviewed references may be used as well.
