Please read the article carefully. I recommend printing a copy so you can mark it up to record your thoughts as you read. This is fairly dense material, so allow yourself enough time for reading and note taking.

After you’ve read and thought about the article, click on the Activity 2: Creativity in America link. Then click “Create Thread.” Enter the subject line of your choice. It should be something that calls attention to the topic(s) you will be writing about in your post. In one detailed post, reflect on what you consider to be the most important/interesting issue(s) in the article. As with the first activity, keep it casual, but support your claims.

Here are some examples of topics you can write about, but you’re not limited to this list:

What issues did you find provocative? Why?
With what point(s) in the articles do you agree? Why?
With what point(s) do you disagree? Why?
Do you think there is really a creativity crisis in America?
How do any of the issues fit or not fit your personal experience?
